This is a professional training in DaVinci Resolve, which combines professional editing, color correction, visual effects and audio post production. DaVinci Resolve is the standard for high end post production and finishing for Hollywood feature films, television shows and commercials.
This is a complete DaVinci Resolve course. This course covers :
- Editing in the Cut Page : Adding, reviewing, appending clips. Marking in and out. Editing multiple camera angles and trimming edits.
- Adding Effects and Publishing in the Cut Page : Different ways in cut page to enhance the appearance, apply and modify different visual transitions. Quick look at titles, filter effects, audio adjustments, final output and uploading for web streaming.
- Organising a New Project : Configuring project settings, importing media, grouping clips into folders, using metadata and smart bins.
- Assembling a Rough Cut : Craft style editing.
- Moving Clips in the Timeline : Moving segments, split clips, deleting segments and improving editing skills.
- Refining a Timeline : Precision trimming tools and multiple trimming methods.
- Applying Transitions and Effects : Tools for creating visual interest, adding transitions and effects.
- Working with Audio on the Edit Page : Create additional audio tracks for sound effects and set audio levels for a balanced mix.
- Mixing Sound in Fairlight : Fairlight page, edit sound effects, narration, voiceover and cleanup using FairlightFX.
- Creating Graphics and Effects in Fusion : Create visual effects and animated motion graphics using nodes. Building blocks and connecting them into an image-processing flowchart.
- Colour Correction : Primary corrector, secondary adjustments, nodes and DaVinci Resolve FX.
- Performing Primary Colour Corrections : Create a base neutral grade and to balance shots, Save, copy and apply to multiple shots.
- Making Secondary Adjustments : HSL curves and qualifiers and applying basic spline shapes to isolate areas. Follow a moving element and grade it throughout the scene.
- Designing Creative Looks : Understanding creative implications of grading and creating distinct looks for each location and/or time.
- Delivering a Final Program : Using deliver page to create two separate outputs, one for high quality web streaming and custom output for visual effects work.
- Managing Media and Databases : Ways to backup and move projects and media. Manage DaVinci Resolve database.
